About Cosmetic Tattoo Courses Australia

We are a Melbourne-focused academy for professional cosmetic tattoo training. Our site reads like a prospectus: every course is set out the same way, so you can compare brows, lips, eyes and removal side by side before you send an enquiry.

01

How the courses are set out

Cosmetic tattoo covers several quite different kinds of work. A hair stroke drawn with a blade has little in common with a soft shaded lip, and a fine liner along the lashes asks for a different kind of control again. So we don’t lump them into one programme. Each technique gets its own course page.

Every course page follows the same order: an overview, who the course suits, the techniques covered, how the course is structured, what students learn, the trainer, student work and common questions. Once you have read one page, you know where to find the same detail on the rest.

If you are new to the field, the Cosmetic Tattoo Course introduces the discipline as a whole. From there you can move on to brow work in the Eyebrow Tattoo Course, Microblading Course or Powder & Ombre Brows Course, or look at the Lip Tattoo Course, Eyeliner Tattoo Course, Fine Line Tattoo Course and Tattoo Removal Course.

Weighing up hair strokes against shading? The comparison on the Courses page puts both brow methods next to each other.

Course numbers 01 to 08 are only there to help you find your way around. They are not a required order of study.

02

What we stand by

Choosing a course is a real commitment. It should rest on clear information, not a polished sales pitch.

i.

Trainers, described accurately

Trainer profiles list only verified experience, expertise and qualifications, and each profile links to the courses that trainer teaches. Read them on the Trainers page.

ii.

Student work that is genuine

The Student Work gallery is for real student pieces, each linked to the course it relates to. Reference photographs elsewhere on the site are captioned as references.

iii.

Course details from the source

Dates, fees and what a course includes vary, so we give them to you directly when you ask instead of printing figures that could go out of date. Ask about a specific course through the enquiry page.

Have a question about any of these points? The FAQ covers the common ones.

03

Who the courses suit

People starting out. If you are drawn to brow, lip or eye work and want to understand the discipline before you specialise, begin with the Cosmetic Tattoo Course and the guide How to Become a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist in Australia.

Beauty professionals adding a skill. Brow and lash stylists, make-up artists and salon owners can pick the technique that suits their clients, whether that is microblading, powder brows or lip blush.

Artists refining a specialty. For people who already work with pigment, the fine line and removal courses go deeper into control, assessment and aftercare.

Anyone still comparing. Read How to Choose a Cosmetic Tattoo Course for the questions to ask any academy, including us.

Based in Melbourne, open about learning

Our training is centred on Melbourne. The Cosmetic Tattoo Courses in Melbourne page explains what that means for local students, and Training Locations explains how location details are confirmed when you enquire.

Much of what a student needs to know doesn’t belong on a sales page, so we write it up in Education & Resources. The guides cover what training involves, career paths and study habits, and each one links back to the courses it relates to.
