— COURSE LIMITATIONS AND STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
— SCOPE
Good training starts with a clear picture of what it can and can’t do for you. This page applies to every one of our cosmetic tattoo courses. It explains what a course gives you, what it doesn’t, and what stays your responsibility once you leave the training room.

— WHAT A COURSE IS
Our courses are practical skills training. They are a starting point or an addition to what you already know, not a qualification that settles everything else.
— IS
Hands-on cosmetic tattoo and permanent makeup (PMU) training, taught face to face in Melbourne by Olha Po.
Small-group learning with individual guidance and practical feedback.
A course completion certificate that records the training you finished with us.
Suitable for beginners and for beauty professionals building on their existing skills.
— IS NOT
A university degree, or a nationally recognised or government-accredited qualification.
A licence, or automatic permission to perform professional treatments.
A guarantee of employment, income or business success.
Online-only practical training. Practical skills are taught under supervision, in person.
— YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Rules for skin penetration and cosmetic tattoo work can differ depending on where and how you practise. Before offering treatments, find out what applies to you and follow it.
A course certificate does not register you or your premises. Any registration, permit or licence you need is something you arrange for yourself.
Arranging suitable insurance cover for the treatments you offer is your responsibility. Ask insurers what training evidence they need before you begin working with clients.
Safe, careful work takes continued practice after a course. Only take on treatments once you are confident in them, and keep developing your skills.
— LASER-RELATED TRAINING
Laser work has its own safety and regulatory obligations, separate from needle-based cosmetic tattooing. Depending on the equipment and where you work, specific requirements may apply before you can use a laser on clients.
Our Laser Tattoo Course draws on Olha Po’s professional experience in cosmetic tattoo correction and removal. Finishing the course does not on its own satisfy any laser-related licensing or safety requirement. Please check what applies to you before you enrol, and ask us about it when you enquire.
Olha Po is a certified and licensed cosmetic tattoo artist. She is not a medical practitioner, so questions about medical conditions or suitability for treatment belong with a qualified health professional.
— THIS PAGE APPLIES TO
Every course page links back here. The same limits apply whichever area you train in, from comprehensive PMU to a single technique.
— BEFORE YOU ENROL
If you’re not sure which course fits your experience, our guide to choosing the right course is a good place to start.
— Do I know which rules, permits and insurance apply where I plan to work?
— Does this course match my current experience, as a beginner or as a beauty professional?
— Have I asked about fees, dates and duration for the course I’m considering?
— Do I understand what the completion certificate records, and what it doesn’t?
— If laser is involved, have I checked the safety and regulatory obligations?
