Comprehensive Cosmetic Tattoo Course

Eyebrow, lip and eyeliner tattooing, learnt together, face to face and hands-on. Our comprehensive cosmetic tattoo training is our flagship course. It suits beginners starting from scratch and beauty professionals who want to add permanent makeup to their services. You learn in small groups with Olha Po, a practising cosmetic tattoo artist, and get individual guidance and practical feedback as you go.

— ASSESS

Read the whole face. Then plan.

Many people expect cosmetic tattooing to be mostly about running a machine and copying a design. That’s a common misconception. Good work starts well before the needle, with reading the face, the skin and the colour, and deciding what suits this particular client.

— WHAT THE TRAINING DRAWS ON

The course is shaped by Olha Po’s own professional practice. That covers skin assessment, colour theory and pigment selection, along with eyebrow tattooing in powder, ombre and nano brow styles, lip blush and lip contour, and eyeliner tattooing.

You see why a decision is made as well as how it’s carried out. That way you’re building judgement, not just repeating a technique. To read more on this idea, see Measure, Then Mark: Why Cosmetic Tattooing Is More Than the Machine.

— THE MEASUREMENT CARD

Weigh breadth against focus. Then decide.

Not sure whether to learn every area or begin with one? Here’s how the two options compare. For a longer guide, read Comprehensive or Single-Area: Which Course Suits You?

— HOW THE ROOM WORKS

Work all three areas. Then review.

All training happens face to face in Melbourne, in small groups. That lets Olha watch how you work and give you individual feedback while you’re practising. We don’t offer online-only practical training in place of supervised, hands-on instruction.

Sessions are arranged according to the course. Courses suit local students and people travelling from other parts of Victoria. Our approach rests on practical education, professional integrity, individual attention, safety and continuous development. Read about our training approach.
